Has anyone done fools bow recently ??

hey all,
for the last few weeks (maybe as many as 4 weeks) ive been tryin to get fools bow as i feel i should have it. i have done the encounter b4 on another hunter of mine so was sure i knew what to do.
the thing is i know several peeps who have tried to get it recently and as far as i know no1 has had ne joy. when u go for the "runner" it seems as tho every argo and his dog are runners, ne1 know if this is maybe a bug or am i just real unlucky ? also if it isnt the "runner" u go for anymore can ne1 explain the way they did it
btw i havent been tryin to get it for a few weeks solid, i do it when i have 15 mins spare or so, but have tried to help a few peeps and spent an hr or so with them to.

It's been a while since i done fool's, but don't think it has changed.. First time i tried to get the bow i soloed alot of Argo's, looking for the one who was supposed to act different and run off.. but they all acted the same to me.. Actually all Argo's act exactly the same, and the runner don't start to run untill attacked, so you won't know wich one is the right one before you attack it.. and there's ALOT of Argo's down there wich makes it difficult to solo just like that.. I circled for a few hours killing Argo's.. no luck.. Then i called my brother who brought his supp sm out there.. swam down to the shipwreck at bottom and started pulling Argo's.. Bow dropped in second pull !

So if you want Fool's and you don't want to be killing Argo's forever.. bring a supp sm.. done the encounter 3 times.. two times we got bow near wreck on the bottom.. third time we got bow when killing Argo in the surface..

Did it

For a m8 about 2-3 weeks ago - nothing had changed - just took a long time to drop. We were very deep before we killed the mob that dropped it.

Done the bow thingy twice, and it use to be the "runner" that droped the bow.

In both my cases it wasn't so the info on VoS doesn't wuite cover the hunt. Just pull from a side when it is there - Done that lately on mi US account and got the bow faster than the two "runner" targeted attemptes here.

But sure are a lot of squitties down there - so happy hunting.....

When I did this a few weeks back. I killed 3 squids one by one, on the third squid I got a fourth adding, as I killed the fourth, Bow Dropped.
The first 3 were squids that ran away as I unstealthed. I don't have any clue why the one with bow added, there were many more squids around me that were closer that could add.
I acctualy saw the add when 3'd sq... was about 50%, add started moving straight towards me from about 1500units, sent hunter pet on it to give me a few sec of fair 1vs1 PvE.

thanks for the replies, at least i know now its not just the runner im looking for as i did the 1st time round
guess its just a case of sittin in there and killing anything thats near.

Thats exactly what happened to when I did it with a hunter friend. He was complaining he couldn't kill em before they legged it. So brought my warlock along and we just pulled squids rather than looking for runners etc.

Same as above, we pulled one and another added. It then dropped.
