I thought it was excellent... better than the third by a long long way, not totally faithful to the book but gets across the relevant messages

Nice to see Jarvis Cocker, Jonny Greenwood, Phil Selway and Steve Mackey making an appearence along side a fantastic cast.

yeah, i'd say thats the only thing i dislike. i was a bit dissapointed that there were no monsters in the maze, though.

watched it at the midnight showing, wasnt too bad, not really a harry potter fan though so wasnt expecting much

After much begging from my mate I went to see it, he filled me in on the story up to the movie, because before this I have stayed away from all things Harry Potter, but my mate loves it hes read every book and watched all the movies.

I watched it and thought 'meh' it was a good film but it wasn't something I would want to see again. It doesn't incite me to read the books or anything.

I enjoyed the dragon bit and the action bit at the end but that was about it.

This sums up my reaction to all the Harry Potter films I've watched. There's somethign about them that I just can't put my finger on. I watch them, and they just seem to happen. I don't get invested in the story to any extent, I don't care what happens to the characters. It just doesn't engage me.

That being said, I'll probably watch the new one when I can

It was alright, considering I didn't pay anything to watch it (unlimited card, so I did, sorta, but I don't notice it!).

I really do not understand all the fuss about it, it's unoriginal tosh as far as I can see! Oh well, I just hope the people who are into it move on to decent fantasy later on, the whole fantasy market could do with some more readers/viewers.

Ye Richard Harris was a lot better as Dumbledore. They're 2 completely different ones. I prefer the 'calm, relaxed' one of Harris.

aye dumbledoor Mk I was a bit more....well...I dunno he had the air of being very powerful which the new one does not.
