The thing that I really don't understand is why the fuck they bothered. Either of them. It makes no sence for a company like Inf to go after some internet site.
It also doesn't make alot of sense for HOCP to spend the $200k they claim defending it. They had to make admissions that will, in effect, make it impossible to claim their legal fees. And even if they did try, as soon as Inf received the lawsuit, they could file for chapter 11 before being found responsible.
So in the end, HOCP really has lost, as they may have to pay their side of the fees. And that much money for them would kill the site.

So really, there are no winners from this. Only we lose one of the better review sites.

imo it makes little sense for a company like Inf to try to break into a console market already dominated by multi million pound multinationals, especially when Inf is exactly one person. I like the thought, gogo the underdog and all, but the man's a nutter imo and the people who invested in him are worse.

TBH, reading Hocp's article, I dont think he ever had any intention of making a console, just of thieving from investors........

A hardware review site (HardOCP) wrote an article about the upcoming phantom console from infinum labs about how it will never appear, is a load of bull and is essentially a scam. All supposed fact from what they had actually seen. Infinium took them to court over the claims for defamatory comments or whatever, libel, slander etc. and lost, bout it really.

And the fact it will financially ruin HOCP defending the suit. Meaning we lose a good harware review site.
