i really wonder how big a role some things in daoc play...
ok, i am a 50 wiz and currently trying to figure out what artis, realm abilities etc i want.
dex = spell speed, quickness = reaction? and int = both dmg and amount of power for caster?
and apart from that is spell haste which goes up to 10%. and then, there are the realm abilities...abils that give 3% cast speed bonus per lvl, and 3% more dmg per lvl. Is there a cap to all that???? this 3% cast speed is additional to the 10% from TOA items? i read somewhere that spell cast time cant go below 2seconds? i dont think thats true though from my experience. i mean i think most buffed peeps cast spells about 1s or maybe less.but if there IS a minimum time for casting then some things might end up useless. like, if u go for lvl5 mastery of the art (spell haste) and 10% from TOA items+the dex from ur items then u could reach the time cap without any other dex buffs. Also, is there a cap to how much dmg a spell can do (without critical dmg)?
Can anyone give an equasion or sth for these things? sth like: casttime = original cast time - sth......
