I think phule might have it on his thane, if you see someone online in AB mord & co on excal it's likely to be him. Vaguely remember him getting one doing the steps a long time ago. And his fh name is phule.

Ok, I obtained the small vesion. However I know the medium version has the same stats. I'd be willing to trade small for medium now. I suppose I'll keep farming until I get it otherwise.

There must be an easy way to farm 5.3. Anyone got any hints?

I dont know if there is a easy way on Mid but on Alb this step is easy to solo with a BB/Friar.

Um, Been quite successful with a tank taunting it and 2 casters nuking. However I think its impossible to avoid splits.

I also think the key is to hit every clone below 100% health. So 1 tank taunting a 2 casters nuking would do the trick. Also need a shaman for heals and buffs.

K, only level 50 caster I have is my supp rm, and don't really fancy logging it in there as I like rvr'ing with it now and then. Got a bb on that same acc I could join with though, but doesn't have fop. Also have a thane that I could bring together with it, respeced to 50 stormcalling, but will run out of power real fast anyway. Also not sure how much call of thousand storms will affect the mob.
Have a hunter too which I could bring INSTEAD of bb possibly. Think it's just non ranged attacks that make it split? Not sure though. Am mostly playing late nights b.t.w, except when I have days off.

A buffbot would be wonderful I suppose. The issue is I'm not sure how you avoid him to regen during the split, if you land a disease it works. But I heard you need to get all clones below 100% for him to not regen. Can someone confirm this?


If we figure out a way to avoid him regenerating a warrior and BB would be enough to kill him.

Hey Atos!

If the LAST clone to die is below 100%, he will not have healed!

The trick is to try and get all of them below 100%, as if you wait for only 1 to be left, you risk not having enough time to hit it!

I did it 3 times (pre-steps for 3 chars) and on all the raids, we followed this golden rule, of making sure the last mob is not on 100%, and I never saw him regen!

A good trick is also to wait until 2-3 are left and then harm them, more time to do it!

Else, if you do it with a FG, tell them to hit "Target Nearest" often while kiting, and to attack it 1-2 times, if they get a target with 100%

Hi! I've been looking for that very same shield myself for some time now. And i can tell you, that if u want it you need to make group and farm it.

However, the stats you get from it, can be crafted with a MP shield. All stats the same except 9 slash instead of 7, and ofc .. no castspeed. But it will work great until you get the real shield.

I thought it was somethign like that to damage the clones. Should be np farming him with thane and shaman nwo then.

You don't need ml 1 to enter ml 5 anymore, they removed that this patch.

Ive only done ml5 groupsteps 3 times, ran two of those. And 5.3 has never regenerated during the split to my memory, and if it did, it only regenerated a little, and all three times I told people not to bother hitting th clones but to just run around avoiding taking damage from them :O
