so what you having on yours?

we have fresh blueberries and pecan and maple ice cream for the pancakes tonight (provided by aunt bessie because im too damn lazy to make them lol)


btw in amsterdam they have theeee nicest pancakes ever, savoury ones i had cheese and bacon and ham and asparagus OMG savoury pancaked FTW!!!


any hoo im off to go on my cross trainer now so i can feel not so bad about scoffing half a tonne of pancakes hehehe

Haha, yes at least when we get home. And incidentilly, we have about 40 semlor (that's what the cream and almond buns are called) left in the fridge here at work.. people couldn't eat them all yesterday. Want me to mail you some?

So long have i lived next to our wei...erm...blue and yellow friends, and never knew it was fat tuesday there. Here it's Laskiainen, which has absolutely no word in english. People eat buns and go play in snow, basically.

Also didn't know mardi gras is the same as Shrove Tuesday, that the english countries call pancake day.
