RESURRECTION SPELL CHANGES

Due to the recent change where you now receive Realm Points for resurrecting your realm-mates in RvR battles, we've had to change some of the resurrection spells. Here's the list:

- - All resurrection spells now have a 6 second cast time (this is a little slower for the lowest level resurrect spells, faster for all others). All resurrection spells also have a fixed power cost based on a percent of your power pool (-20,-30,-40, and -50 for each respective level of resurrect spell).

- When casting a res spell, you receive a message and the spell cancels if the target is already considering a res from someone else.

- Power cost for resurrection spells is variable - as you go up in level, these spells cost more power.

- Resurrection sickness now goes from 100% to 50% when doing a "full res" on another player.

- Low level resurrection spells now give 5% RP's to the caster and high level rezzes do up to 15% of the RP's to the caster.


Nice to know i won't be forced to stand like a gimp for 12secs waving my arms and feeling rather stupid as i watch all the other healers tap their feet impatiently only to have some muppet lvl 10 shammy come along and ghetto rez my target :D


True it'l be a strain on my mana, but i guess you can't have everything now can you

Don't get your hopes up till it's released.. this has the potential to be heavily abused (like the ae mez, debuff rp thing.)

It's nice to know that they are at least thinking about it :)

This change has, as far as I can tell, two sides.

One: There will be a lot more rezzing going on in RvR.
Finally one can hope that atleast 50% of the healers that previously just ran past corpses will stay to get some RP.

Us other healers that usually stop to rez ( and die shortly after :) ) can atleast get some RP before dying. ;)


Two: A more negative side might be healers not healing people outside of their group in for instance keep defence. Much easier to let them die and get a few RP by rezzing afterwards.

To those, if not having a very good reason not to, consider the fact that the victims can't defend you very well while being rez-sick.

All in all, it is quite a few nice changes. Just hope they implement another respec for healers in time for that. :)
