we had a lovely time, unlike the couple who sat behind us just as we were leaving a restaurant after our cream tea...the woman got back to the table to relay the specials board to the bloke and as she was explaining what was on special he goes "we'll get this straight right now, i'm not spending a lot on this" rofl she flew off the handle at him and gave him a right old bollocking, fair play tbh (no valentines is not about spending money but he could have made an attempt to be a bit mroe subtle about the way he phrased his comment lol)


a cautionary tale to all you people out there, never put it that way, say something like "ooh lets share a cream tea so we can snuggle up together!..schnookums"

lol we watched punch drunk love...well we watched about 15 mins of it and OMG never have I been so bloody disappointed with adam sandler but then we watched Kate and Leopold which was quite good and made up for it lol

The acting was good.

But the plot wasn't done very well and I thought the progression was a bit lousy. The comedy was few and far in between and Malkovich said Fuck way too much.

Normally i like films by the brothers; but this one just didn't work with me.
