just for enlightenment purposes. Killing someone who is already fighting another opponent is not "winning", its basically greifing if you do it without any form of bias to any target with a red label. Im sure your a top dude, have a crack at a melee toon, and see what it feels like to have random mage add on you in the middle of a well matched tear up with a respectable opponent. sad thing is you would prolly change your outlook on the game, but you are to retarded to even be aware of the gauntlet, let alone pick it up.

one reason is that it annoys ppl to know that some think they are "winning" over them (as hansi said it) even when they are zerging or adding them down.

I think its worth pointing out, that cheating to win in DAOC, is using speed hacks, radar and other programs that manipulate the game and/or environment.

Unless I am mistaken then the game allows multiple characters in the same area.

So what you are really saying is you don't like his play style, which is of course is your opinion, which have every right to. Or has he by chance called down a thermo nuclear warhead on your head while you have been 1 on 1. Which I would agree would class as cheating.

Its very important to use the correct term I think.

I think the difference would be, that if you were caught cheating at cards (for money of course), then you would rightly expect some form of punishment. Cheating in a game like this merely reflects low self esteem or the need to be liked.

well i'm mostly talking about 8 vs 8... Some ppl may like to engage a 1 vs 1 fight and some don't. I perfer to avoid it but it can be hard sometimes...
