still have snow spent 15 mins getting the car out and then 30 mins getting it back in after it got stuck

3 ppl and 2 shovels needed to do the latter .. im not going to get to work soon hehe

Were at my parents house up north over christmas and new years eve and it has almost been snowing constantly. Tho, everyone is used to it and i have been shoveling snow almost each day to NOT get snowed in. Were really cold the last couple of days, around -35 up to -40 Celsius.

Now i am back in Stockholm, been -10 today with only small quantities of snow and im noticing everyone dressing in Eskimo clothes while i can walk around in a summer jacket with hands in my pocket :lol:

So no real problems getting anywhere.

Must have been either immigrants or tourists, or the village fool. Ofc there are always some suicidal people wearing almost nothing. For example i saw a woman strutting around in pantyhose and short skirt in -30 which made me raise a brow.

Bloke ski'ed down the hill outside my mates house this afternoon, I nearly pissed myself as I never thought I would see that in the suburbs of a city like Manchester. Tbfh I wish I had ski's, would love to give that a go in these conditions.

Decided to brave going out in the car this afternoon, main roads are all ok around here, but side roads are still really bad.

Couldn't get onto our drive as the entrance is at an angle, so tried going up the street to turn round and come back and managed to get stuck and have to dig the car out and get a push from some neighbours

Won't be going out again in a hurry until it melts a bit.

On other news, just managed to get the car out of the car park thanks to some people who helped push, but during all the wheel spinning and generally effort the cars ABS and Brake warning lights have come on... Car nuts to the rescue?
