Hand of god is not working on Albion/Excalibur might be other servers too not sure, or it could just be my cleric.

When i cast hand of god on anyone, and they cast a spell or attack it breaks the focus shield.

example. cast hand of god on my wizzard, as soon as wizzards starts to cast a spell i get the "focus shield has been broken"

could someone test on alb/prydwen see if they have a problem.

i think the code has got screwed up and that is breaking the focus, instead of just the cleric breaking the focus.

feel free to test it out i could be wrong or it could just be my cleric thats gimped.

this is in new frontiers, not PvE area

afaik its meant to work like that, atleast thats how the focus sheild the shaman has works... from what i tested it was more of a stand still and hope someone saves you spell rather than your cleric stands still and you wtfpwn.

From the 1.69 patch notes:

Focus Shell spells have been added to the buffing lines of Druids, Shaman, and Clerics. These spells, which can be cast on others as well as oneself, absorb a significant amount of damage from all sources. The caster of the spell will have power drained as the focus shell is held in place, and the shell will drop if the caster moves or takes any other action. The recipient of the focus shell will not be able to take any action or use any ability, including attacking or healing, while the focus shell is up without causing the shell to fail. The recipient of the focus shell (if other than the caster) will be able to move without the shell breaking, provided they remain within a 2000 unit range of the focus shell caster and maintains line of sight. The shell will only protect against realm enemies.
Shaman - Augmentation Spec Line 41 Spirit Shell (Absorbs 70%)

Cleric - Enhancement Spec Line 46 Hand of God (Absorbs 85%)

Druid - Nurture Spec Line 47 Nature's Cocoon (Absorbs 90%)
From your description, it sounds like it's working fine.

ok let me check, i thought that the person hand of god was cast on could attack/cast/jump around like an idiot until either the cleric moved/or cast a spell in which case the focus broke.

after all its the cleric that is focusing the spell on you.

as long as you are with in 2000 of the cleric you should be able to attack/cast as per normal

my bad when i checked with requiel he assumed like i did that hand of god would allow the target to cast/attack within the range of the focus shield,

i have just read the notes for the spell and it does not work that way, for some reason we both got it wrong, maybe because for some reason it made sense for the target of the focus shield to be able to be usefull. my mistake, for thinking that a BB could be usefull for anything other than buffs...
