Hamlet - On C4 last night

Did anyone watch this film? It was a monster, at 4hours long, but i have to say, it was marvelous. There's alot of long complicated speaches throughout the film, yet it managed to hold my attention thoroughly, right up until the end at half 4 in the morning

Branagh's performance as Hamlet himself, was very impressive, and i believe he also directed the film. I've never seen one of Shakespeare's plays portrayed so brilliantly on film, before

Richard III is rather good too, with Sir Ian Mckellen.

I thought Richard III was a bit shit tbh :/ We watched it in college, in English. The speaking in verse appeared slightly commical, and the end "battle" was pathetic.

Now in Hamlet, due to the setting, and the brilliance at which the likes of Branagh delivered their lines, the speaking seemed natural... Anyone who hasn't seen it, and didn't watch/tape it last night, i would advise you to watch it if you ever get the chance. Brilliant film!
