Halo the movie

This time it's the turn of Halo to experience the horror that is the game to movie conversion.

Microsoft have revealed the signing of Alex Garland who wrote the script for 28 Days Later to pen the Halo film script.

Depends on how much of a plot they stick in there - The Resi films are quite good (even if they do get a panning critically, then again most actioners do), though, despite a thin plot.

utterly cack idea tbfh. Boring game and it's be turned into not just a boring film but one that makes little sense too, like most game/film conversions.

lol super mario film bared little/no resemblance to the computer games... though how much of a film would a plumber going down warp pipes and saving princess toadstool from an evil turtle make? Stupid idea -> Stupid Film.

Though at least Halo would make an interesting film... as there is some kind of pheasability involved. Halo 2 especially had an awesome plot line.

Still waiting for the Half Life film... that would be good providing they actually stick the games story line

A Morrowind Movie would be good, but they prolly couldn't do it the way I played through the game, playing for 60hrs and only stumbling on the main story because I mate of mine said have u defeated Dagoth Ur yet and I was like who?

If you want to see the main reason not to do game to film conversions then simply watch House of the Dead.
