just thought u would like to know i had this game running very slowley on my PC but i found that if u use the command "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo\halo.exe" -use11 in the target box of ur short cut that it improves performance quite alot really donst look as nice but the performance in increased alot. this is for nvidia cards i think u use use20 for ati cards

he means we were just chatting about something much like this in another thread. a nice bloke called Throdgrain was having problems with strange refreshrates and found a sollution much like the one you mention.
