A good gaming experience is more important (a bit) than controls.
ITT: elitist PC fags going on about how controllers suck for FPS games. (Mark my words, I can read the future)
A good gaming experience is more important (a bit) than controls. Halo does not deliver![]()
And part of the reason it doesn't deliver is that FPS's on consoles suck donkey balls.
When you play with a keyboard and mouse why would you take the crippling step back? CS:GO looks great on my 42" telly, why on gods earth would I have a great visual experience yet hobble my gameplay with a completely gash gamepad?
Footie games, yep. Fighting games, yep.
FPS's? Not on anyone's nelly.
Ever.

People have been playing fine with control pads for years those that can't or refuse just can't adapt it's honestly not that hard to play with one.
Try this analogy Aada:
You're a fully-able athlete. You can run the 1000m hurdles in a respectable time.
However, you cut your own leg off and enter yourself in the spack Olympics.
That's what playing FPS's on a gamepad is. It's going from previously amazing freedom of movement to a severely hobbled one.
Yes it's "fine" - but it's not "great"...

Billargh was right the topic has been filled with PC elitist fags coming in and spouting the usual shit, predictable cunts.
The autoaim sorts it out most of the time.
Billarg was wrong.
The topic was started by an amiable console-user excited about the upcoming game. However, like many amiable console users they get hurt feelings when they get told that some people simply can't live with the feeling of disability you get from a clearly inferior control system.
The previously amiable console-user then ignores all rational and factual argument on the subject and calls people cunts.

I don't understand how it makes us 'elitist' fags for not playing a game with a controller, because you prefer Keyboard and Mouse.
How am I hurt? I don't care if you can't use a control pad.
What does annoy me is the thread being hijacked by the PC crowed who have to ram the control debate down the throats of anyone they meet.
I don't disagree that a mouse is more accurate but for me the keyboard is never comfortable for long gaming sessions.
Actually, it was a person who used consoles who hijacked the thread into the debate, because BillyFag is like that, he was in and out, and no-one realised, and we got the blame for it. QQYou don't understand that coming into a thread and hijacking it with the eternal debate that is the control pad vs mouse?
The thread had nothing to do with what control device we use it was to do with Halo 4 but that isn't going to happen now.
Am done with the thread.

elitist PC fags
So, you say we can't use control pads and then you go on state you don't know how to use a keyboard.... (hint: proper use of a keyboard is never uncomfortable if your setup is correct)
Never played 1 or 2, played 3 was ok, odst was utter shit. Reach was brilliant and is probably the best halo game they have made so far. I'll no doubt try Halo 4 but not until the price drops as I refuse to buy any game over £30.
As for the keyboard + mouse V gamepad argument I prefer the gamepad as long as the controls are good and/or the controls can be changed to how i like.
Fall of Reach, may have to dig that out again at some pointHalo 4 will probably be the last game I buy for the 360. As Steam has taken over my gaming life, I still have a soft spot for the Halo series. They are fun little games to play. Plus I am a sucker for the story, ever since I read Fall of Reach, many moons ago.
