Er, considering I still play Q1/3 and all the various other King's of DM games as well as CS, I think I can safely say HLDM is shit.

Yes, HLDM is rather shit compared to Q3 or UT DM, due to the more running around looking for people and slower weapons.

Well I'd say HLDM is just as good as quake3 and easily better than UT. Most people think hldm is full of idiots who have just bought HL and have no idea about anything, which is partly true, but there are a lot of very skilled players there too, who would demolish you as easily as a top q3er would

its a decent DM game, but it isnt everybodies biscuit, qw 0wns it however

I won't bore you to tears as to why/

Hldm is a laugh at times nothing more, it's more anoying than q3 most of the time.

He who has the better weapon wins in hldm, and as is the norm in hldm, the better weapon is more often than not placed in your back 2 seconds after you have spawned

There is no way to rate them as they all have their own distinctive features .............

Peeps should not make snap judgements based on a quick play around ...........

I will say the skillz in top HLDM players are as good as any FPS game ..........

And 10 mins wombling around a public server is not gonna show any game to its best potential

I used to play HLDM for hours, until I realised it twas quite shite, similar thing with TFC.

The skills are:

A) Aiming at head with magnum while..

B) ...bunnyhopping
