I just had a brilliant idea for boosting profits that I'm going to share with all you GAME peeps.

Firstly, price everything in your shops at £49.99 or more, and everything online at £2.00 including free delivery.

As soon as all the online orders come pouring in, charge their card and then send them an email apologising that all the games allocated to online sale have been sold. Promise them double what they've spent off any single item from their local store.


GAME gets huge profits, customers get money off. Everybody wins

dont panic just yet as Valve Software decides when they ship, not Vivendi

Hmm, I'd have thought the publisher would ultimately get the final say in when the game gets shipped. Ok, so Valve control when it goes gold, but VU surely control when it goes out to stores? It may be that they're purposefully delaying it to coincide with the Christmas shopping season?

(Class game + uber-marketing + Xmas = hoooooooge sales)
