Haircuts..

What type of Haircuts doi you guys go for? Im gettin my haircut tomorrow but im kind of bored with the Short-Back-and-Sides ive had for years

I dont wanna skin 'ed, but something that looks nice and not like i look like a Footy Hooligan (I aint )

Anyway, i suppose my input isn't entirely relevant, since it takes a fair while to grow. I've had my hair cut once in the last 2 years, and even then it was only really a trim to keep it neat whilst i had it in curtains Allthough my hair does grow alot slower than other people's i think

only reason i dont get it cut often (Maybe twice / 3 times a year) is coz...

Barbers are shite in my area
They open early, but i hate getting up in the morning
Hate getting hair down my back, irrating to fuck

More often than not this type of hairstyle is synonymous with IT people!

Allthough i have got split ends, so i could do with trim... But you know what barbers are like, you'd tell them to take off half an inch, and they'd take of nearly 2 :/

I quite like long hair on lads. Shocko, up till I was eighteen your hair would be my favourite. I'd have probably stalked you. However, age in all its infinite wisdom has taught me that long hair on men never smells as nice as it looks. Well, once in a blue moon. Much of the time, long hair on men smells like an extension of armpit hair. But maybe that was my fault for liking grungers... Hmmm... Not saying your hair smells like pestilence and decay, I'm just rambling. I do that now and then.

There has to be enough hair to grab a handful of. That's my humble opinion. Or, if not, so recently shaved that its still at that, "awww, you feel like an ickle hedgehog", girly drivel stage.

I used to love dreads, until a friend of mine had them shaved and found maggots inside. And dreads tend to stench too. Even ones without maggots.



Btw Shocko, you look astounding like someone I know. If you happen to have a near certifiable obsession with Britney Spears, and support the Gunners, I'm going to get worried.

I've got a bit of a slanty longish thing atm.
Only problem with that is that I have to build it every morning with gel and stuff and I hate that :| Perhaps something I have held over from my long hair days, but I hate putting stuff in my hair that isn't either shampoo or conditioner heh.

I have been going thru a bit of an image change lately.... and I wasnt sure what to do, usually it was no 4 on the back and sides, and middle parting... nothing major...

A week or 2 ago a female friend suggested I go to Toni and Guy and get a proper cut rather than the £4:50 job I usually have.. thinking this was a good idea, off I went. The lurvley girly that cut my hair made some suggestions and we decided on a style, and off I went to have my hair washed and stuff, with a nice head massage too... then back had it cut and stuff in a short and messy type styleee.. and I love it. yeah it cost a few quid but well worth it I think

Currently, I have a...it's hard to describe, but take a number 4 with thick curly hair, dye it purple, grow that out, number 4 again, leaving the coloured tips, then let grow one final time.

I've had long hair, dreads, a skin-head, and various punky things. Hair is for having fun wuth.

No 2 back and sides, short on top. My hair is soo thick there is no "style" other than short back and sides that works. I can brush it and gel it , it goes back to where it wants to be. Been using same barbers for 10 years, all girls , they hate me because my hair blunts their scissors and makes there fingers hurt
