Hadrian's wall Friday afternoon

ok, a little story.


I run around in Hadrian's with my sorc and a Ravenclan giant pet (so big, that maybe my fishiness would go unnoticed )

I stumble on a BM, kill him, MoC down after that. i get a report from a friend, who was killed by a hero near Aqua, so i regain endurance, and run there.

Suddenly, a norse and a troll mezz me, then snares me and my pet, and for odd reasons, they run away after that. so i waste my endurance sprinting after them, but decide to give up, as that is clearly not gonna happen

i turn around, and bump into the Hero. he hasnt seen me or my GIANT pet yet mezz him, and get in position. i start debuffing and nuking, petting him some, all as i should. he pops Moose and IP, and kills me, as im out of endurance and has no more QC left. it was close though


So, Hero sits down to rest a bit, when the norse and troll comes back.

Obviously, i think yay! i'll be avenged!!! but oh no.

Troll and norse runs up, sits down next to the hero, and waits. bummer. they're letting him rest up...

Hero gets up, /beckons, he wants to die, it seems. Troll and norse gets up, and runs away......


hero /shrugs at me, and leaves....


I was mildly confused after that now, my gripe is, if you cant even trust your enemies to be bloodthirsty, low down sccoundrels who'll kill their own enemies in a heartbeat, what CAN you trust?

im disillusioned. world gone crazy!

because i didnt see him until he was almost in melee, and he resisted a few spells. anyway, kiting sucks ;p

Aye I was the Hero, Was a strange fight. i was doing well solo after getting an easy kill on cleric before you who was backing away from an agro mob, straight into my shield slam.
noticed happlos death message from you, hes a good bm would have liked to see the fight.
id been following you n giant since u entered HW but lost you in lag, after the fight when i saw the 2 mids turn up i thought it was all over as i used all ra's n end in fight with you

Thought may as well die fighting n beckoned them to be done with it. was only after when they tried a mez before moving off at speed that i realised they were both low lev mids that still con yellow. maybe they felt unsure of themselves, but they had all adavantages. will never know.


Look forward to meeting you out in the frontiers again sometime.

Yeah as a heroine i hate people kiting me (damn shamans) but they allways get the rps by doing it

How come whenever i go solo to HW or odins, i never seem to find soloers?

Always i get rolled over by a full group, or ganked by Stealthers.

Yep, i was the BM from your 1st fight, i'd had a decent run in HW that day and was back for more, saw you and tried to get to you quick, so hit charge and was almost in melee range before you noticed me. I gotta admit to being abit frustrated by your MoC plus lifetap combo, worked really well since i totalled up my dmg on you and it was over 2000 hps i took from you and you were still on about 40-50% life after fight Tried getting in side poss for that 2-3 sec stun but couldnt get possision on you. Nice fight though

Anyway, i made up for the loose about 20 mins later when i went solo HW again and bumped into a Hunter called Werewulf on my way to mmg. Was a pretty easy fight cause i dont think he was prepared for me uncovering him. Anyway, i got to mmg and after a min or 2 there i got mezzed from behind, swiveled cam and saw 1 loan mincer just standing there!! So hit purge and entered combat with him, but the funny thing was that as he was almost dead, Werewulf and an SB mate he'd brought came through mmg I thought "Oh dear" cause i was dead for sure. Then the mincer died and i targeted Werewulf again and had to use IP just before he dided which left me and the SB. I was out of end by now and on 75% life to his full health. But luckily i got afew parrys and he died too with me on about 2% life!!!

Was the best solo fight i've had in game to date and i've played since 1st month of release. Three solo kills all at once and all of us unbuffed. Dont think that'll happen to me again

givf back the days of unbuffedness and SC-less environment, where solo casters had a chance
