hacked or hijacked?

hijacked being you gave him account details (PL, temporary account swap etc)... Marils account has been round the blocks if I recal rightly though.

If you were hacked with some sort of keylogger, then thats nasty... 99% of "I been hacked" are just "I given my account detail to someone over internet and he fuckordz me!"

Change the game password? You do have the subscription password, right?

Doesnt matter if he has the subs p/w he cannot change the login p/w unless the email address is set to something he can login and see. It wont let him change the email address without confirmation from the old email address so unless the previous owner was being thorough when he trys to change the login p/w it will just result in him being locked out of the account.

Well if you sell or try to sell you account you have the risk of beeing scammed. This has nothing whatsoever to do with hacking.

Most of the so called "hacking" incidents were just people who gave their password to the wrong people.

However, if you decide to sell your account just make sure you remove yourself from your guild and inform them atleast. Selling is one thing (i have my own ideas about doing that), making sure others (friends, guildmates etc.) won't get into trouble just because you sell is another.
