OK, I recently acquired a copy of this

Billed as helping you become a security expert. Its an interesting read (I'm not an IT expert, but I am paranoid). But it contains probably 100s of trojans in zip files (well, I got bored of virus scanning after about 40)...

So did I miss the point.....is this a training manual for script kiddies or a wakeup call for those interested in IT security ?

If its the former, what kind of chump publishing house would release such a cd (unless its all bogus of course)

just for my information, really ?

it's quite possible they've done it with intent. tbh I personally feel you've wasted your money, as the discription on the website stated nothing you couldn't learn about in detail after a minute or two's googling.

Money ? hehe...I hear ya...I think alot of the subject matter is probably just nicked directly from the web....it is, at heart, a pretty poor product.

Still, distributing viruses for money...its a bit strong...
