Ive just finished this book, its by a bloke called Johnnie M Clark and its about the Vietnam war , and his experiences as an 18 year old kid in it.
The title is a bit gung-ho I must admit, it almost put me off reading it. However Im glad I did buy it, its a really compelling, and in places quite shocking story. You can see where loads of the Vietnam films got thier ideas from.
I'd reccomend it if your interested in that kind of thing, definately the best book on that subject that Ive read so far.
