Guilds good/bad

I readed earlyer not to choose your guild to soon heard to bad name Fear and Red hands .... are there anny other guilds like this .. or am i talking Sh*t about Red Hands and Fear ... ps . are there anny Good guilds ..

I read that post too and have to agree what Bob007 said in his post about being to hasty to join a guild. All large well established guilds on pvp server are bound to have members who have made mortal enemies these are either guilded or unguilded players... and it often happens that people who have been killed multiple times by a guild will "payback" what has happened to them on lower level members of that guild.

I personally joined a guild when i was in my lvl 20's and was numerously grey killed by lvl 50's or xp killed and only excuse i was given was i was in an enemy guild...

You should choose your guild wisely, i never recieved an iota of help from the guild i was in even from the high lvls when i complained i was consantly being killed and therefore wondered why the hell i was getting the stuffing knocked outta me for a guild i did not know.

IMO best thing for you to do is a) make a close grp of freinds and try to play togther regularly b) failing that try to join a guild with people close to your lvl preferably a small guild there are many which rise and fall, milk it for what its worth, anything to lvl up.

Agree with surgeon on this one.

I have my main char on Camlann in Fear, which many mention as evil guild for some reason.......imo its a great guild with a totally insane spirit in hunts/PK/exping. PK guild yes but evil......well no. BUT I do not have Camlann alts in guild for the reason Surgeon say.

Many say greyganking is the reason Camlann sawk, but look at it the other way. Run with full fg50s, find a opposing group in some of the main areas. Being a support char I start to heal/cc when fight starts. And what happens.....10s after I have 3 grey stealthers trying to leech RP hacking on me, meaning they feckup our battle and get killed by someone in group and then whine over greygankers......so what goes around comes around. The few greys I killed has been people attacking me when we fight an equal lvl group.

I doubt any of the bigger guilds have a gank all you see policy tbh. Most guilds have a no grey killing policy.

According to the bigger german and french guilds there is only one evil and that's Requiem :uhoh:

Mainly because we are a big (pure)PK guild and we fetch the relics whenever we can :p

I know prime gm a bit and don't think he supports greykilling..are you sure you were grey? It's possible that the attacker cons purple to you and you con green or even blue to him

imo Requiem aint all that much anymore....
they WHERE the guild when i started at camlann but without relics you are the same as the rest :)

aye camlann changed not so long ago

people started to fight over si portals, little stealther fights there
but soon some guilds just had to bring full groups to the place

it turned out so most guilds camp si portals or try to take over the place from an other guild, not my game ....


requiem is at its best in fg fights, but it sort of sucks to find out we're the only still having a regular group roaming at primetime

people started rerolling a lot and requiem became what it is now:
just like the rest

I have always liked Requiem, stand up guys who are fun to fight against shame that it's all going the direction it is :(
and all theese new guilds that keeps poping makes me sick...
seen lots of new guilds the last days where several "guild jumpers" play atm....
will this ever stop
will 1 guild stand united all time through DAoC is dead?
I think not, but love fighting ya zephyr :)

Well you can't tell about a guild form these boards or anything else but to play on the server. Guild reputation is something that is impossible to "earn" just because noone can ever tell what is true or not.

I can say whatever I can about any particular guild I don't like and it will stick like tar forever. If I mention that guild xxxxx RP farms and cheats it may or may not be true. It may be true for a certain instance (one occasion), for a certain player or it may be true in general, but it might also be a complete lie. And how will you be able to tell which? At best you get a reply from the mentioned guild player saying "Ehh Im inocent" or counterclaims of cheating and whatever. You can't tell if he is telling the truth either so you end up with info as valuable as subway graffiti.

The thing is that the post will remain on these boards forever and people gathering info from these boards will only get severly missinformed.

So bad rep or good rep (I don't think there is a good rep guild on the server if you consider "good" as being fair and friendly towards outsiders). There are good guilds as far as playing goes and once you enter the server I think you will find that being in a guild with good players are usually less frustrating than being in a guild with kind, dead ones.

Fear or Red Hands is not better nor worse than any other guild on this server as far as sportmansship and fairness goes.

On the other hand Requiem is a big fat ass loser guild, who cannot do anything without relics and RP farms and have had several players banned for cheating. Now this may or may not be true, but you will never figure it out from reading thse boards. Just come inside and play.

tell me, what happened between you and uks? afaik only bannage I know of is schleurf and perhaps some other VERNICHTER(for bugusing) and some Nachtwache members( for rp farming each other)

Well, let me say a thing about Fear

They can camp a si portal, their stuff and skill ends there

tho i have to say i love RH's ganking of green exp groups -> rezz
exp group rests and start to exp when u are worth again RH comes around for another 3sec fight.. rezzes you...

it feels so gay to get rezzed only to know that they do it so they can farm you again..

i mean, what do you get from a green group that is engaged in pve combat..

i dont mean rp wise.. if u play for rps you are retarded imo.. u hopefully play FG to ged some good FG fights vs. other such groups.. something that the RH members ive met dont aim for.

wonder who is bitter when I read this.....

Req can run fg's when they have 6 relics...their stuff and skills end there....

You try to make it sound like something forced Req into rerolling...well think again....6 relics in a guild with most peeps online sorta force other peeps to camp SI or reroll...I dont see the difference there at all....yes you wtfpwned the server, by having much people on and recruiting from smaller guilds....but dont come whining when that sorta killed your fg fights.

People come to us if they want to join, not the other way around so maybe make your small guilds a little more interesting to keep your precious members

When RH/GdE has the relics we still pvp and manage just fine, with relics you have an edge but that doesn't mean you're guarenteed to win 100% of the time

Also, loosing a fight doesn't make us log or log on an character to exp like most french guilds do and others after a small number of lost fights, not to mention carpe mortum running in 2fg, which should make up a bit for us having relics, we go back and try harder and give tips to what we saw during the fight etc

Just a lame excuse to resort to easy camping style

Most small guilds consist of wtfpwn classes but when they start grouping it just doesn't turn out right :p

We can't tell people how to play , it's just my opinion/facts btw

exactly....cant tell people how to play..but you say smaller guilds killed of server by camping, while I claim Req killed of the server by catching all relics and running in uber fg's farming people forcing them to camp/reroll alt....I dont really see the difference....if for expample Fear have 4-5 peeps online.....friar/skald/minst/sb....should they instead of camping go and give gold/RP away to a full fg Req? right......

Sort of same talk going on on Pryd where the Mid fotm groups steamroll everything, making people in other realms reroll or play in different way (2fg/other areas). And when people do play in different way they are destroying server.....

Try seeing it from both ways......
