Guild want to join one an alliance...but who to chat 2 ??

Hi

A tribe called quest would like to join an exsisting alliance. We have 7 members all 40+, so would be a good contribution to an alliance as we are all rvr rdy.


But who do we speak to...

The Dark Disciples wants the same.

we have 18, 40+ members atm.
and many upcoming members, nearing their 40s.
But have either been ignored or as in the second case.
Tiwas - Grilf, i was informed of that the alliance chat limit was almost reached and that that spot was to be filled. ( 20 member guilds?)

We, The Dark Disciples want to contribute to the realm, and so far we have been forced to just noticed large midgard formations or do random /who <zone>. and hurry there asap.
and make wide guild chat msgs, of that there were raids giong on.
i see security risks in that .

Since the alliances seem so uninterested, i suggest we all consider a 3rd alliance in the Realm of midgard.

The Dark Disciples are certainly interested in such a joining of resources.

The problem you guys both face is that alliances are capped at 20 member guilds (or is it 19) until a later patch. It is more than likely that both current alliances are full and there isnt a lot you can do about it. Grilf and Fatbelly are the two peeps you need to query availability with in their respective alliances.

BTW CG groups will (according to a response which took 2 weeks or so from Right Now) be expanded to 50 from 20 in 1,49. They failed to say whether this would also apply to alliance member totals (no surprise there). Might be an idea for either of the aliance leaders to try pushing the threshold of member totals in Gorre when it comes online with 1.49 in the next 2 weeks.

I have gotten ingame response for this 3rd alliance.
Some guilds have contacted me on this matter, and i am seriously considering to widen this. and see how likely it is that it is doable.

Cuz if i dont i suspect others will do it sooner or later.

There must ofcourse be some kind of filtering process of guilds.
And guidelines set for this 3rd alliance.

As Killgorde mentioned the limit is currently 20 guilds, not counting the Alliance leader. However - unless I've missed it in the patch notes - this still hasn't changed in 1.51. If it's ever going to change, it will be a long time before we actually get to see it.

And yes, last time I checked our alliance had 20 members (including leader), with 1 in the pipe..
