This would save the occaional headache.

GM of Guild 1 does:

/guildmerge <Guild 2 GM Name>

Guild 2 GM then accepts or declines.

Guild 2 is then merged into Guild 1, all characters are brought in as the lowest rank. Guild 2 is deleted, all Guild 2 bank vault contents and money are mailed to the Guild 2 GM.

sounds like a useful thing, but i doubt the "time to implement" vs "times used" would get you anywhere

Something like this would be useful.

However I think you should need some additional checks to prevent somebody scaming all the loot/cash in one guild.

Maybe there should be a guild merge flag. That is off as default and your guild would ignore any offers of a guild merge unless the flag was switched on. If you made it so the flag could only be switched while talking to a certain NPC that would virtually eliminate the chance of this being abused.

Thats a good point Cad.

It might be making it rather complicated to have NPCs involved though.

Perhaps just make it a slash command to accept rather than a Yes/No prompt.

The prompt for the second GM could be something like "Guild X has invited you to merge into them. Click on the Decline button below or type '/guildmerge accept' to accept their offer."

If the only button available is "Decline" and you are forced to type a response to accept that would prevent scammers.

(One would hope the prompt would disappear after typing /guildmerge accept :D )
