GTA error

[Panda On Smack]

Just wanted to try out a few things on Vice City for PC so i reinstalled it etc but it seems to run at double the speed now.

any ideas as to why?

Its like somone is holding Fast Forward in the cut scenes and in game i seem to shoot around really quickly and then stop then back to double speed again.

Only thing i can think of is my PC spec?

Athlon X2 64 4200+
GeForce 7800GT

heh, will give it a go later. No worries though, just wondered if it was something obvious.

It was down to my Athlon X2

Both cores run the game and sort of speed it up

you have to goto Task manager and change the Affinity of the GTA executable to just 1 core.
