GTA 3 problem

[Rubber Bullets]

Apologies if this is in the wrong place, but I know this game was discussed here way back.

I have just installed this game and the controls are fucked up. I am trying to use mouse and keyboard but for some reason I just keep straffing right, without touching anything.
If I hold back and left I can stop dead. Apart from that I can hardly control what my character does at all.

If I get in the car then it just steers right, unless I use the left button in which case it goes straight. Theer is no way of turning left.


All the graphics are fine, and I am running XP pro, and have got the DX8 patch in place.

Any other ideas?

Sounds like you've got a joystick connected and wrongly configured...

I get this sometimes if I'm messing with the Lobo and doing bounce bys, try pressing the relavent direction on the number pad thing over on the right of your KB

/me throws sideways glance at force feedback joystick, slumped to the right...
