but is it any good? noticable results in dmg output? how often does it proc, is it worth taking a pierce offhander for instead of somethink else? :X

thinks it's 5 or 6%
Was really annoyed that after levelling the thing on gorgons for so long i get a lower debuff with no DD compared to a LW user.

It can be nice in 8v8, clerics/healers are pierce weak to begin with and you can get some good damage after the proc.

Still for encounters where castable resist buffs are not a factor LW > GS, especially for classes that can't afford to cap all resists (just need the right LW).
