the funny thing is that this discussion is as old as EU daoc.
People has complained about people from other realms doing nasty things to them in the frontiers
(I believe it was Jenna and Dosferra who had some albs rooted for ½ an hour)

and the same answer has come up every time
If you dont want nasty things happening to you when you xp/item hunt, then dont go to the frontier.
Its a risk!
And the horrible thing isnt the Grym rez killed and ganked greys for so long, the horrible thing is that us albs allowed him to do so for so long. I mean he was one shadowblade against many many albs, so whats the excuse for not sending him home to midgard?

There were only two Albion's above level 40 outside of our Prince's group. And we were a long way away. But you're right, half of the reason for my posting here is 'cos I feel guilty

I show this only to let you know that if someone in one of your opposing realms is doing something you don't like, there will almost with 100% certainty be someone in your own realm doing the same thing. Don't generalize realms is what this part comes down to.

The other thing I want to say is just as many others have already said, there is nothing wrong with killing greys. You enter a RvR zone, you be prepared to die the most horrible way you can imagine. Be prepared to die an xp death to players from other realms too, and this is ESPESCIALLY true in DF. To round off this part I will just post another link. It is Goa's official stance on RvR rules. I suggest you read it carefully:

If people still don't understand it I would welcome any grey con to level 43 Alb to line up in Forest Sauvage tomorrow at 20:00 so I can show them what it's all about.

You will be introduced to 2 handed hammerbashing 101 and block chain stunning with the occasional whiff of insta lightning. Any attempt to moan will be laughed at.

If after that you still don't get it I welcome you to come xp in Yggdra for a while if your level is appropriate.

And in the rare case that after that you still don't get it I suggest you find the round table in Camelot and hide underneath it. On the rare occasions you do find the courage to crawl out from underneath it you might get your tradeskills up a bit at the forge.

I have to say that while under most circumstances i think grey killing is fair, in this instance where grim stands RIGHT behind the rezzer and PA's someone 26 levels lower than him the seond they are rezzed is going a LITTLE over the top no?

I was wondering where Acuda (who previously held the title of "Albion's Worst Cleric 2002") had gone. I cannot say I'm too surprised that he switched sides.
I just took great satisfaction in taking him down to 50% life in one hit last night as he tried to sneak in the rear of Arkvir Faste. Not bad, as he conned red to me.
Shame he then ran away at top speed.

On the whole killing greys issue, you go into a RvR area, you are fair game as far as I'm concerned. I've been ganked so many times in the past by purple-con mids, I've lost count, but that's just part of the game to me. Hell, I've been killed at the merchants a few times, and I've zerged the other's merchants area a few times. Sure it gets annoying at times. Often it's annoyance at getting caught out and anger at yourself, but it's far easier to be angry at the enemy than to deal with it.

I speak for myself Sicko and other posters here, not for all Albion. Lessa was ensuring that Blood didn't kill lower levels, the person who was repeatedly rez killed in DF couldn't have hurt your pussy cat if he had wanted to.

Besides, people laughed at Blood 'cos he complained about something that he does himself.

Ok. I usually gank anything i can, and I love it. Even tho they are VERY grey

But just now recently I made it to the alb entrance in DF, and I saw some Highlander Invader. So instead of ganking him i unstealth and /cheer.. then we dance a bit etc, and I walk away and do the same thing with atleast 5 greys. What do i get for this? The area crowded with very highlevels looking for me, and moments later i type /release.

It's not like it pays of to treat the greys nice, eh? Next time I'm back I'll do my best to give those Invaders expdeaths.

And like its said a million times before, don't go in enemy areas if you don't want yourself ganked..

I've been killed by you in yggdra more times than I can remember, ever since I was lvl 22 up til lvl 33ish I think, when Spindelhalla became my home, fools who pull purple mobs became the biggest threat to my life
