Planetside is actually really cool tho its a shooter MMO. Got a lot of tactics involved in it. Has the same "keep take" as DAoC tho its towns in PS. Great fun, thx for reminding me, think ill go home and reactivate my account :)

I wish someone would do a decent Space game - maybe based around the "Firefly" universe (or Wing Commander universe), where you actually get to fly space ships, unlike in Eve where you just go "yeah computer, that pixel - aim for it and fire away" (also how you can have an mmo where you continue to improve even when you arn't in the game I don't know - how on earth can any new people catch up :eek7: ??

Star Trek Online looks like it might be interesting - but then again the goal of it seems to be getting to be Captain and controlling your own spaceship - when I grow up I want to be the Engineer not the silly captain :(

Aye, Planetside is pretty cool, used to play it when I got bored of DAoC, now I play EVE Online when I get bored. EVE is a full PVP game, but it can be boring at times too. Also, I found Guildwars to be a completely boring game. To kill stuff all I did was this:
1,1,1,1,1,1,1,c (next target),1,1,1,1,1,1,c,1,1,1,1,1,1 etc until all the mobs died.
Maybe I shouldn't have picked an elementalist, but damn, even a wizard in DAoC has more utility than that. :p

same as daoc then
i liked guild wars pve, there was a storyline to it and often npcs will draft you into battles (lvl 2 NPC yelled "the town is under attack" and your instantly put into a battle >_<). There is limited ammounts you can do but the focus is pvp so no surprise there

I love the PvP in Guild wars.
So extremely balanced and because you can only bring 8 skills you have to actually think which ones to bring instead of just switching to one of your other 50 Qbars.
Only problem with Guild wars PvP are Koreans, they are just way too good at it.

dude, City of Zeroes has been pushing and promising City of Villains for HOW LONG NOW?????

I tried beta, was fun. Got the game and after about an hour, it sucked balls. Boring, boring, boring sadly, and the community was virtually non-existent if you didnt have 50 speccy mates from school all sign up with you.

Guildwars kicks arse, with its "instanced" quests and "instant action" PvP sections.

Planetside is awesome if you like an all out futuristic war... :D<---me does

If you had actually been paying attention you would know CoV is out in a few months :p

EDIT: looked it up and release date is 31/10/2005 to be precise. Beta been going on for a while and it seems to be nearing completion now.
