grrrrrr POPUPS

is it me or is the net getting worse
every feckin page i visit now has a popup(grrrr i hate popups),
now i would understand if i was browsing for Pr0N but i aint.
So i thought i know ill get popup stopper but guess what now these pesky popup peeps have found a way round them

message recieved from site i was blocking a popup from....

Please turn off your popup stopper, this must be done to see the requesed page.

sure enough turn off the popupstopper and i see the page
plus about 6 popups

And they dont have any way of closing them! You just have to click on them!

what build of mozilla do you recommend, and how exactly do you get rid of the popups, shocko?

I think the most simple way is put known popup host addresses in the "hosts" file to block them, this is available without any special software.
