Dont kid yourself, Faf I challenge you to take aggro off Solid and his 3.3 speed 1H hammer on a deep purple mob, eg a WoW or the GG, bet you wont hold aggro for more than 5 secs. 2H tanks cannot not hold aggro longterm, but in malmo when draks only live for 3 secs, using 2H of course will get you aggro as the mob dont live long enuff for Fast 1H tanks to steal aggro away using taunts.

I'm afraid I have to disagree here, as I know from personal experience that I can take aggro from a fast 1 hand taunting tank if I spam my taunt and I can do it quite easily, however for a 2 hand tank a single miss when holding aggro would be more crippling of course...

however this may be because I hit a helluva a lot faster than a 2 hand troll tank would do.. also I miss less too..

solo'd my SB to 28, grouped from 28-40 and made those 12 lvls in 6 days. This was thanks to:

a) Head Hunters - as you've said Faf, getting a group with guild is np.

b) old friends from when I first played daoc would group with me with their alts.

c) I'm *allegedly* very friendly . Made a lot of new friends along the way and as soon as I logged on I would get "want to group?" I make a habit of being chatty and friendly, pays off.

Now I'm in a position to PL some friends and give back some love Faf you can group with any of my alts anytime, I just need to PL them so they are ur lvl .

I think we need to see a change of attitudes regarding to this grouping problems....Afterall many of the lower level chars out there now is usually alt chars of rather experienced players with high level main chars. We should all know better than this! =/

Personally I always group with other players no matter their class...In the end I think it all comes to how you play your char and that you´re a fun person to spend time grouping with.

Having played an SM since day 1 I can relate to any grouping problems people have but I've noticed that attitudes in general haven't actually changed at all since the UK release of the game. You will still tend to get groups with people you know - period.

Healing classes and pbt classes are the only classes that will always get groups more easily than others unless someone is specifically looking for your class of character.

Yep, the self interest can be disheaertening but there are a lot of good peeps out there too

Faf, you know oooooooodles of peeps in Midgard, start beating the drums next time you are on.

A good meatshi... er fighter, is always welcome in any groups I'm in

One thing thats really fun is when a group say you are to low lvl and they make a bad pull and you see it all happen. And they are wiped. Some of them then start sending flames. Well if i'm supposed to save your ass, when i just sit and watch, why dont you invite me in group. I've seen this happen to other players too.

Shadowblades and Hunters are great to have in pve. As a darkrunie I have a really great dmg add and together with dual-wielders(sb) and fast hitting players(hunters) my group can dish out loads of dmg on a short time.
So rather than having a Troll Thane with 50? qui a Hunter with 150 is better
