Groups in Thidranki

what goto's basicly wants me to say is that
other realms make a gg a good one like the mid one back in the old days looney tunes i think they were called but anyway a guild with good SC and decent setup that can challenge us and meet up on certain days or whatever for a couple of hours of fun

I co-founded Loony Toons back in the old days and now play in Hib so I dont think they will be re-forming.
I do believe more thid groups are needed in all realms as the mindless zerging that goes on atm just sux.
I do miss the days of spanking (and getting spanked by) Rids group tbh

Recently myself and 3 friends started a little thid group, however we are yet to all be on at the same time . It is alb/excal, and we should be playing possibly later this evening, and almost certainly the weekend, I still recognise a few FH names and it would be cool to run into some decent groups.
For those that might still remember, a while back the 4 of us used to be in thidranki blitz on hib/excal, we had fun there but now it seems that is where msot people play, so we switched to alb in the hope to run into some of them groups.

So for the first weeks of EV all I saw were singular kills from the different groups members followed by nothing. Now there is simply nothing, bg just isn't what it used to be sadly enough.

Sir, I play Hibernia and therefore am free of bias. BG is a small RvR area, when you have an elitist group speeding around at speed 3 you need to actually have sufficient forces to counter them, stealth or you will die. The singular kills means that they are killing solo players or a small number of players at any rate that didn't stand a chance from the start. I know their routines, I know some of their members and I know that the few times i've grouped with them they enjoy going to Portal Keeps, something I despise. I also know that they kill soloers. That might have changed but all you need is one rp horny player to attack and the rest will follow suit. I have no reason to lie, they are a Hibernian guild and I am a Hibernian player.
Hmmm, i havent seen EV kill at Tk's much, maybe the odd look there but most people do. Alot of people like thid (myself included) as it isnt hard to get quite good, find some rog woth +caps, and Sc dont cost much, yeah a bb helps ofc, if not roll a group frienly toon and use there bb's, or do as i have done, roll a self buffing toon?

i'd have to agree that the criticism of EV is abit harsh from what i've seen of them tbh.
never really seen em kill a soloer and sure i've seen them at both mid and alb tk's, but only on a runby visit and not ''camped'' there like was suggested.

Every time i meet EV and im solo they dont kill me coz the respect soloers ..
Now we just need to form a mid group and have some fg vs fg fights for fun
I have a set up in my mind i just have to talk to the mid players and see if they like that idea

Got the little 4 man team on alb playing today, logged out about 10minutes ago. Was quite fun, sorry for any soloers we killed unless they were warlocks/stealthers/BD's.
Would be nice to see some more hibs out, which I was surprised there wasn't that many as I left hib due to their being too much ><. Also was fun to run into a mid group, hope to see more people about.

Ridje, no that wasn't us, we seen that group run out and were really rather pissed off as we left hib to fight against a guild group, and then albs made one, Doh!. BTW never acctualy seen that group accomplish much, and they were acctualy running as a full group plus taggers
but that could just be people they couldn't shake off .

i soooooo am wanted fg vs fg or 4vs4 again s/ced players and not just these lev 20s u seee alll the bloody time with free armour. its gotten to the point of seeing 1 of em and not even bothering attacking even though would be funny beating a merc with a bard with 1 point in blades ><
btw ty to the half fg of sorcs who didnt kill me yday . i was the dr00d healmedic with feathered wrap magma buckler shield and leafy hauberk i had just came out solo because i was .2 tnl and wanted to add on something not usual that 3 sorcs and a cabby dont attack a solo dr00d

A comment about EV killing soloers.Well in the starting of this guild I must reckon we killed everything we find in bg1,but thidranki is made for that.Anyhow the actual EV dont like killing soloer,only sometimes when we see an overpowered CHAR,like a bonedancer,warlor. We kill that yes,and we like it .Reason:for example last week with my NS,he is full SC,cap in allmost everything,ok then I saw a BLUE warlor.Was very hard to him to kill me.After I soloed an Avalonian he add into combat.Was a little add but was simple... INSTANT DOT and he ran away of me /clap for the tactic.Then I had to run ofc,go to water and go stealth.Was impresive to see my HPs going down from 100% to 5%-10%.Well I got 650 hps so he killed me like 600.Isnt that overpowered? .So now you know,if you are a Warlor or a BD(hit 1 key char) then better you dont find EV,cause you prolly die .
