AoE nukers have some of the same stigma as rangers. Come on, everything isnt PBAE! Sure they do a lot of damage but 2 or 3 regular nukers with AoE work almost as well. And thats presuming that everyone is a good teamplayer.

Id take a good teamplayer of any class any day over the UBER PBAE that dont know how to cooperate or have a nice time while exping.

How boring it would be if all groups looked the same..

BTW, Phlobin is a great player ( among many other rangers, ns, AoE nukers etc ). To miss out on their great company would be a shame!

What we really do miss is high non baffing mobs for lvl 43-49 chars gourps to hunt. If mythic where to add a few more of those it would me much easier for ns/rangers/non pbae nukers to get groups! a healer or 2, 1-2 strong tanks, a battery perhaps and the rest dmg dealers ( where rangers excel! ) is a good group for these mobs.

But the sad truth is that when your to high for pookas the next higher single mob is the dragon.... Or have I missed some? Please do tell me.

Everybody always thinks rangers are the best solo class while it is not true. I can't ever solo a red (in acceptable time and trouble scale). Oranges are so so, depends on the mob type greatly. Trees maybe.

However, my druid friend boasts being able to solo 3 yellow cons simultaneously and the enchanger above soloes reds AND they both are 100x more useful & wanted in groups than rangers....

I disagree. Ranger are by far the best solo class imo. I soloed my ranger all the way to 37. Ok maybe they can't solo a red...so what? They can solo 4 yellows without downtime at all, and then wayt for end, and 4 new once.

An enchanter can solo reds and also purps with some luck, but still ranger get batter xp becouse an enchanter uses ages to kill them and have mana downtime. So a ranger get exelent xp solo, better than most groups actually...xept the best pbaoe groups ofcourse. Only sad thing here is that it's so DAMN boring to solo all alone for a long time...and time going slow. But in a team time seem to go faster and it's more fun, with peeps to talk with etc. Thats the prob.

So to say that rangers is not the best solo class is bullox imo

Afaik they SOMEtimes do... I´ve had my group pulling one, and 2 came, we killed both and rest, then pull another (they were in the way) and came 2 AGAIN and one of em r V uber... so basicly we had a great view of our grass in the frontier
