back to the original topic:

I have watched GP immunity very closely the last week: Every time it has been used i got immunity to the purged effect. There was one occasion in which i resisted mez twice - then GP was used and then another mez landed. I think that this is the reason some people still think it doesnt work.
Also some unexperienced druids use GP wrong: mez lands and GP used already - while half of the group wasn't mezed at all (resisted, not in range). Hence some of the people in group will think GP didn't give immunity when GP actually didn't affect them in the first place. Easy solution: let the sorc spam mez 2-3 times (they always do) and make sure everyone is mezzed before using GP
I also think that GP is a great RA which eventually helps caster groups a lot (no determination). But on the other hand you have to see that in most cases a hib group will lose the initial CC war: healer can insta stun and then use castable mez, sorc has bolt range + QC. Bard insta mez is often no option and the castable version is far inferior to either sorc or healer (no QC, no boltrange, no MOC, low castspeed (due to low dex)).

The problem is vs hib caster groups if they do GP they are now immune to mezz, and if you ae root that only interupts them for a few seconds. Even if you do interupt they may still have purge and moc up. A hib caster group like garbannoch's is very hard with all their ra's up, but I imagine quite easy when they are down

GP and the fact that hibs never have to face BaoD or TWF are the main reasons why hibs can build successful caster groups and other realms cant.

Actually TWF should be compared with Static tempest, which is also on a 30 minute timer, and has to have gt set, TWF does damage and snares, while Static Tempest only stuns, and ticks only every 7 seconds, while TWF ticks every 5 seconds.

These arguements are bullshit to be perfectly honest. The game will never be 100% balanced, and comparing things on difirent classes from difirent realms is really dumb, as they are supposed to be difirent.

I totally agree... Remove the expensive 30 min RA, so the sorcs can keep on spamming their 400 radius AE mezz on bolt range...
