I bought this the other day, in the sale

I see some folk here have it too, my question is, how the fuck do you progress to new tracks? I must have done the same three races like 10 times each!

Er, I don't remember to be honest. I think you have to gain fans (cringe) by winning races and then you can progress. You're doing the career bit (World Series Racing iirc) and not like a single race option or whatever, right?

I'm on GRID: Autosport now anyway. I do love the series, I wish they'd keep the DiRT games more rally oriented though.

Grid 2 wasn't too bad for that iirc, but autosports terrible jrpg level grind.

Some of the tracks are awful, but the japanese themed ones later are really great.

The team radio in Autosport does my fucking head in. I've never ever ever heard anybody say "you're in pole" halfway through a race. Pole is something you achieve in qualifying as far as I'm aware. Also, doing a season of 6 straight endurance races is a ballache. I'm not sure grouping all the disciplines together was very bright tbh, it gets very samey. At it's core it's great though, I love blitzing through Barcelona or Paris in the higher powered cars.

A lot of the tracks in Autosport are ported straight across from Grid 2 it seems, I was getting major deja vu for a load of them.
