Greyganking!!! (not a flame)

yet in a different sense, ie the greys gank you!

basically i enjoyed the removal of the lvl to hit modifier, but how many of you lvl 50's enjoy being casted at for almost 150 damage a hit by a greycon lvl 36 eldritch :D, all ican say is that yggdra's gonna get a hell of a lot more dangerous for the grey gankers :D, christ this shoudl make it more fun for lowbies to xp in the frontier now that they can actually hit the people ganking them :), never have had anything against grey ganking, even when on the recieving end but now that htey can actually hit and damage you well enough to be a significant threat if your attacking a full group it's gonna get much more enjoyable for the attackers too :D.

/em takes his lvl 36 to yggdra to get owned by someone he usually kills in thidranki with his lvl 24 :D

I usually avoid ganking greys, and try to encourage my group to leave them alone as well…. Which is difficult with some of the hardened grey gankers that I know! (Not naming any names… they know who they are!)

But if they’re going to put up a fight…. Well, may {insert relevant deity here} have mercy on their souls! :D

I've been killed 5 times lately in f.sauvage and snowdonia, but i don't mind its part of the game.

Yesterday in sauvage i was killed by hammerdwarf, he came up behined me and attacked , but instead of running i started fighting back, i hit him twice and blocked him twice before he killed my lvl 35 Armsman. 5 mins later after i got a rez he tryed it on against Drunkard and lost. I don't no what lvl Hammerdwarf is but you can hit purple's now  Tho i only hit him for 83 damage with my 1h crush hammer.

Soylent Green. lvl 35 Armsman.

oh and lvl 36 full mana eld spec gives you about 300ish a hit when stood right on them with pbaoe, and since it's easy to land the 8 second stun you have a that lvl it's quite fun :D, just trying to farm enough realm points for mcl now so i can have that on top of my serenity, will be happy once i've gotten it :)

This is all well and good, but come on, after levelling for 50 levels, spending all that time on the frustrating level treadmill, don't you think you deserve to be a little god-like to the lowbies ?

If any old level can hit you, and half a dozen of them hitting you for low damage at once can take you down, wheres the fun in being high level anymore?

Fair enough they don't do much damage and maybe it did need some fixing, but taking the level to-hit modifiers out seems to much, im sure the low levels will disagree but personally i'd like a little more reward for all that time spent levelling.

Bring on teh grey zeeerrrrgg!!

Lessurl was just killed by lowbie7
Random ns: Where?
Me: Just outside dl, up right hill
Random ns: What got you, infi, sb?
Me: No...err...5fg greys
Random ns: Rofl

But seriously, i think it is bad for greys in a way. Before if you stumbled upon one who was foolish enough to try and attack you could just laugh it off. Now you'll be like...argh! the little f-er hurt me...right.. no more mr nice eld...bolt...you hit for 983 damage + 4xx crit...poor grey con has just died.

I got a big ego. I like being uber. I like it when others tremble in fear at the mere sight of me.

Ganking greys limits the number of pills I take.

Someone Got GreyGanked

Not yet, but I wont be suprised if it happens sometime soon, and all its going to do is make us less likely to go easy on the greys, not that theres many who do at the moment.
