Last night a few of us 4 rangers and a shade decided that camping apk in odins was boring ... and thought moving to uppland would be more fun...

so as we get there we decide NOT to kill any greys unless aggrovated by them swinging at us.

moving along to snowcrabs we find 1 gree nand grey xping .. so we kill the green..

the grey took 2 swings at me .. both evaded and ran down the hill.. we didn't attack him.

moving down the slop some yellow con troll waves at us .. Oo - he gave us 9rps. .. i was like err wtf.. ok..

then the masses arrived .. loads of mids ..we started attacking .. then that GREYCON comes back .. and starts attacking me :/ ( evaded 2 attacks , he missed 3rd)

after he realized that i was trying REALLY hard to ignore him he left me and attacked the next person . .well which was Gavon .. ( who had a little less patience ) I actually think that lurikeen stepped on him ..


needless to say .. the grey died :/ we fought mids for about 2 minutes .. and then all of us died !!

best fun i've had in a while even though we died.

found some interesting stuff in uppland .. horses and carts .. with ppl in em and some agro mobs .. i managed to run thru like 10 ack !

It works both ways you know, after a couple of DF hunts i've been on recently by the end i've usually just logged behind the portal of the albi entrance.

so i log on, stand behind the door (so i could be seen) and start buffing myself, i had to stop when a yellow con highlander came charging towards me with his weapon draw and then seemed to forget that i was behind the portal back to albi land. that sort of thing makes me cry i usually laugh so hard

anyway, all buffed up and recovered from my laughing fit i come out...

Hmmm... albi's have DF....

it was one of the really new guys (the lvl 15-20's that kill the mobs right by the entrance) i figure what the hell and start playing arround with my stun... no not on the albi, on the mob he was killing. in PvE as most of my CC spells are non-leech i extended him the same coutousy i would any new player if i had a few mins to spare (shame i couldn't buff him, but thats the way these things go)

anyway, suddenly in storm four more greys.

Hmm.... they appear to be in combat mode.....

oh dear... they can actually hit me......

umm.... well if you can call this hitting, after spending a minute or two using my superious casting speed to heal myself i finally got bored and let off an AE mez.

the guy i'd been stunning for seemed to be saying somthing. i have no idea if it was

"oh stop he's a nice guy" or

"kill the bastard!!"

suddenly coming up what do i spy? oh crap some kind of diamond hunting party, better leg it before they kick my ass. waving to the guy and letting off an AE stun for good measure i jump out of the portal and find myself in albi-land. after that i spend the next 15mins trying to find an albion RP whore to suicide on, obviously because i wanted one i never found anyway (even standing in a wide open area naked AND sitting down didn't work) but the rest is a different story. My moral?

I might not kill greys (intentionally) but that doesn't mean i won't defend myself against idiots that try to gank me

Thats less gold the average teleport spell to a level 50
About 5 solo kills taking less than a minute.
I would pay that for a masterpiece cloak.
If you cant afford 10g for the cloak, your probably not in the running to get it spellcrafted anyway...



as for greys:

good day: /dance /dance /dance

average day: stunn, debuff, debuff, debuff, mezz /dance

bad day: gets out pointy elph stick

hehe, boni, just wondering but what's a masterpiece cloak? since the cloaks dont actually have a qua %, it makes no difference whether it's a masterpiece or not, for spell crafting i can't see how you'd get anything different from one crafted cloak to another since not even one of them has a qua % value

so charging 10g for one is a bit steep, and no, that doesnt mean i dont have the cash, got plenty of cash, but it means that it's a bit cheeky for someone to make something which costs them near as damnit 1s per item, then sell it for 10g

and yes my numbers are wrong , you can probably train tailoring sufficiently with about 5s not 10s

The cloaks qua shows up after you put the charge on it as it gets the level of the charge (eg. becomes a "jewel"), so neener neener. And btw, a masterpiece is 100 qua

BTW, the price comes from time spent making those damn cloaks... I could farm more money solo with my infil in the same time, atleast in DF...
