I remembered Chipper mentioning a server he was off to when the FH server died. That server merged with another, becoming http://damnation.eu/phpbb/index.php.
Lots of different worlds, a vibrant working city with lots of amenities - Treefarm, Sandfarm, Public Mine and a working player market, must be 50 shops selling stuff - great when you're starting off. They have this WoW type arena game called MobArena with 6 diff classes, which is super fun ! Was in 'Creative Worlds', this evenin(you get all your blocks for free) i ported over to Chippers humungously big spaceship in the making.....wow ! lots and lots to do, I just ventured into the many dungeons for the first few weeks, not touched on half the worlds available yet -a true smorgasbord of things to do.

Generally an 18+server, but some younger players do get on with special dispensation. Quite a few moderators about, who will teleport to you in minutes if not seconds and try and sort out your problem. I even got a mod to port over only to hear me whine about dying in a dungeon /sorry !
Just updated to 1.7.2 with a new Amplified world ( amplified meaning mountains are feckin HUGE) Ran Swedes, has a world-wide player base and is active 24hrs a day.
