I need a new game, one that is good and long, a game that will make you forget time (if anyone says daoc I'll punch you)

So list some games.

And I'm serious about the punch!

Naughty warez!1

MMORPGS are the world's biggest time sinks. Atm I'd suggest FFXI or SWG.

What the hell is ed2k?

Just a vague idea which won't get censored please. I have no intention of downloading any games/warez/whatever...coz I can't.

Indiana jones and the emperor's tomb.

May be a few months old but got it on pc, it's cheap now :p and it's good fun only downside is the tricky camera panning but it's a nice game.

Planescape: Torment, less hack&slash compared to the majority of D&D games and strong storyline
Broken Sword 1-2, point&click adventures take some time aswell
Ultima Ascension (Ultima 9), old game but still a long rpg to play
Icewind Dale 1 (2 ain't that special), can be entertaining for a while aswell
Monkey Island series(xcept part 4), if ya haven't played those yet
Sam&Max: Hit The Road, old Lucasarts point&clicky thingy ^^
Full Throttle, see above
Legend of Kyrandia 1-3, can be downloaded legally as abandonware @ The Underdogs Abandonware need to watch out not to download too much or ya get banned (read their faq) you'll prob miss some sound files though as it's ripped <hugs his originals>
Heroes of Might And Magic 3-4, addictive rts-like game
Fallout 1-2, futuristic versions of BG they are actually released before BG
Grim Fandango, same controls as Monkey Island 4 and Broken Sword 3 which suck but nice game besides that
Touché: The Adventures of the Fifth Musketeer, another old style point&clicky
Silver, nice and easy to master RPG where you can somewhat do you own fightingstyles by moving your mouse in various ways

think thats about it for now

oh and:

recently picked up Hordes of the Underdark, and so far it looks very promising.
I've also been loosing myself in Spellforce, which is surprisingly good.

I had a problem with that once, on my old pc i had very bad fps slowdown yet it was way past the recommended specs, was it a bug or something?haven't tried on this pc though.

PlaneScape: Torment

You play it through the first time.
You think... "I wonder if I did this instead"

You play in through the second time...
You think... "I should have done that instead"

You play it through the third time
"Never been here before. Should have done this differently."

You play it yet again...." hmm, never knew that would happen. What if I had said "no" instead of "yes"...."

So you play it again....

Compulsive replayability.
And it's a good rpg.*

*I Lie

It's the best RPG. Ever.
