Bah!

That bit where the Nazi's face melts always scared the crap out of me as a kid. It's usually cut out of the TV version.

is that the one where you can actually see the sheet of glass between Harrison Ford and the snakes?

I wonder why they were stupid enough to use a lightning flash at the same time so that you can see the obvious sheet of glass that isn't supposed to be there

WHOOP! It's on now!

Recording....

Some peope estimate that the DVD's won't surface until around 2005 cos george lucas likes fannying around with just one project at a time. so he's gonna get all the star wars stuff out of the way then concentrate on a decent IJ trilogy....perhaps number 4 is on it's way too.

Heh heh. Top stuff. Good old-fashioned action with some Ford charisma to boot. (Remember the time when every film had that 'dragged behind truck/car/horse stunt' in it? :))

Temple of Doom next Thursday, peeps with Data from The Goonies in it.

I just watched it...
I vaguely remember parts of it when I was younger, but about 90% of it seemed new to me. And yeah, it was a really cool film; pleasant to see the odd quality leap in BBC's film schedule.

I believe they're showing the sequels soon... does anyone rate them or are they the usual followup trash?

Bah. Temple of Doom is the runt of the litter, just like The Godfather 3. Data's cool tho.
