Given that I know the David Lean version quite well I couldn't be bothered with this. Compare the two for me please :)

This is pretty well done. Amazing acting and it manages to paint the bleak properly.

The summary on thet link;

"A terrifying encounter on the marshes with an escaped convict and a summons from the mysterious Miss Havisham change orphan Pip's life forever."
The f*ck? o_O

Have to put this on my list of things to look at when i get the chance.

I really enjoyed this adaptation, Ray Winston was especially good as Magwitch and Gillian Anderson surprisingly good as Miss Haversham.

Wij I really liked the David Lean version and I didn't think I would like this one, but I did. It's well worth i-playering mate.

It was brilliant. I especially liked the set design and locations, very convincing. Ray Winston was typically good, a very under rated actor. I thought Gillian Anderson was amazing, both insane, sad, lonely and fragile.
