Underwater is the best option if there is any, and usually if you put your afterburners on hard enough you can outrun a missle.
Although, now with the rapid Shrike speed decrease, I'm not sure that's possible

just Shrike it....
The Shrike is far better than the GravBike. For a start its got weapons, like to see you take out turrets with a GravBike. Secondly if used well it can cause a huge amount of damage. For anybody that hasnt tried yet I suggest if you see an enemy bomber coming your way go for the head on collision, sit back and enjoy.

In a grav bike I have killed other players and all kinds of ships with the exception of the Jerico and transport.
Yes kids, you too can take out tanks, bombers and even shrikes if you learn how to drive a grav bike correctly.
