badly designed class not helped by fact everyone in mid rolled one. dont like what you said about savage, and healer and patience for SB and hunter. reality is hunter and SB is a hard road to tread. Take the SB, you need a pipe hitting template good kit, you need ml9 spymaster, you need to know which poisons are best in certain situations, you need to spec to prevail against your primary enemy (other stealthers), you need to use positional styles from style to open with. compare that to unloading your chambers and literally wtfpwning whatever is on the end of it..... that why most people QQ about warlock being the class of newbs. ultimately you should pick a class you like the look and feel of, not that you think is gonna get you RP fastest. trust me those that play SB's or Hunter and take that class to the limits (paradox, grimster, jox, ilsub, hellghost, powerslave etc) will get a lot more fun out of the game that another random warlock.
the only good thing about warlocks is the look on their face when they unload their chambers onto you after you phaseshift

instead of flying to ur throat, for once i do agree, a person needs to play a toon that feels good. The main problem is that every player feels good about the warlock class... why shouldn't one?... it must be pretty neat to just kill every other class in all other realms that hasn't got a phase-shift.
Most ppl struggle to get to rr5+ and get some "recognition"... then they give all those ppl something that gains those stupid rp's at a rocketting tempo. Pretty obvious all will switch. It is the last thing most have got left in daoc, get a level of rp's, rest is dead to em, so they may as well take the fast ride.

(All whines r gay ...but when u hear whines bout OP classes or non-SKILL classes...ffs get a grip u fooking tards! ) Since the last 6-7 patches...or if u want -- since TOA .... how can u even use the word skillz in a game which it's game style has made a 180 degree turn and the "quality " of skillz has dropped drammatically on almost all chars ! Lookking back till 1.65 maybe u'll have an idea wtf I'm trying to say : if u don't keep on fooking whining Oo !!
Takhy rolled a lock..( which OFC is prob the most fooking OP class in this game ).. but he spent a whole bunch of hours on dinging 50..getting artis...fixing a proper temp (like this class needs 1 anywayz)...doing arti xp...and his ML's !! Just like we de did/do on our chars !! And now he's fooking enjoying his char ... and i bet he's having a hell of a time till now ...Thats why we still play this damn game -- to have fun.... some of u give up...unable to adjust and just cry u pathetic whiners..

Must admid whenever I meet warlocks at a siege(meaning 5-8, and thats pretty normal) I usually just leave and find some hibs to fight.
IMO warlocks OP'nes for me is more the range than the damage. ! thing is having uber insta damage, but its totally another when you can hit ppl with it from a tower outside anyones range.
I wont say its a skillless class, but I will say, if you played any other class, could you get RR8 that fast?
A question for you too: I guess warlocks spec fotm so they have 2.2k range? does the 10% range work on that too? giving you 2.42k range?
