a full bow specced ranger is just a soul destroying experience I found

Yeah your description of his VN posts couldn'r be more accurate, i'm quite sure he is glottis, i think i may have even asked him.

As for 50 bow, yeah it can be very frustrating, but i have always played archers from the 80's when Gauntlet come out, through AD&D to Ultima Online and into DAOC. I guess i'm just a glutten for punishment.

rangers got stuff to win 1vs1 even with 50 bow imo...
they dont need to w8 drinking coffee for some enemy to pop to fight and just press 2 keys to ruin his fight (and a possible 10min trip).
U going around DC 4 when v few enemies r in Emain just to ruin fights that
peeps with superior knowledge of the game than u try to experience is just ......
Anyways...its takes a man to respect his enemy and not just see red tags, but not all can be in the same club.
Just dont wonder (in case u might do) why u have a red target flashing on u everytime u pop from stealth...from all enemies around...that will even brake combat to deal with u

PS: be a man sometimes too...use a boat..u wont drown !!

i think it is, if you do it in a skillfull way. not camping a tower, i mean.. then we all would have respect for the scouts + di bots camping all of albions towers...

skillfull behavior thats the point.

show respectfull behavior in game and earn respect.

i did alot of unrespectfull things in the past and i live with it.

But at least i doesnt tell people that i doesnt care about respect and want Grats threads.

I had no clue what fatload was like just heard from so many that he is an asshole etc. And it turns out he seems really sane lol. he gives mature replies to all that shit throwed at him and all he wanna do is play like he wants. I know a lot of the people throwing shit as well which makes me a bit sad. No one really have any good arguments against him that will hold against what he is saying....its just frustration and anger for not being able to play how they like. And yeh....i part of me understand the frustration but its nothing you should take out on a player playing like he wants in a game were the rules allow him to do so. And from what i have seen of fatload he is very consistent..he stays around crau most of the time and thats were he adds on the fights. Also he is playing a class not really aimed at 1 vs one close up melee fights...so all thos arguments of not being tough enough to face a real tank etc etc fails totally. Lol...my bow ranger that i rarely play could kill a fly 1 vs 1 why the hell would i go in close combat with him or go solo in melee with him? To die over and over just to earn some sort of respect? Or play the role that character have...namely to snipe on people from behind or when they least expect it? clearly the latter. If this was a case of a guy clearly following all soloers only and waiting to grief them when they have a 1 vs 1 and ONLY do that i could understand some of the arguments. But this guy is just playing his role as a sniper ranger. And from all his replies he seems to be a perfectly normal guy to me. Ofc he get a bit bitter by 1k people flaming him and he uses terms like irc maffia( or something) etc. But in comparison to the other childish crap some of the other camp put up im not suprised at all^^.

No i say, good man for standing up in a mature fashion for what you believe in. And if ur only playing for fun like you say you do...the grats, i think you are the only one in this thread that really enjoys it like it should be.
