dont see the problem with rr5+ tbh....dont read em if u dont like them, it doesnt exactly take much effort to scan thru and see which threads you wanna read...its just being lazy saying "too much spam have to go thru threads blah blah," it dont take time at all lol

i was happy with my rr5's wen i played ( over a year ago now on them chars ) and i think it was an achievement for me as i didnt have any buffbot or "l33t" group or most of the time a regular guild rvr group so for some rr5 is a good achievement and one they should be happy about and if friends want to say gratz then why are you to stop them???? its a public forum and everyone has the right to post it if they want to.

I seen no reason to whine on gratsthreads for people rr5-6.. Often the casual players getting to rr5-6 is a greater achivement then the hardcore players that have assist killed 1000 people in epic armour for their rr11... The rr5-6 posts are also more valid because they often are from people that dont group together 24/7..there is alot worse examples about wasting FH space like rr11 gratsthreads or whatever RR where the sad part is that it doesnt matter if they are grouped (hell they may even have been assisting on the target wich gave the rps for the ding) it isnt still enough to just congrat em in game.. they have to hurry to FH so they can grow the e-penis longer.. :flame: oh and bye the way.. WoW rocks!

Notice how all those who oppose the gratz thread of low rr's such as rr5-6 are all high rank them selves. Perhaps rr5-6 doesnt mean shit to you but it sure does to those who arent as dedicated as you and doesnt run in opted groups every day. Please get off you high horses and realize that there are other ppl in this game who values a rr5 achievement just as much as you value rr11.

If you dont like them, dont click on them. Of couse I hope for when a gratz thread is being made with congratulating your bb for rr2 which is obviously spam it will be deleted. However dont look down on the ppl who just wanna congratulate their friends on a public forum for their, perhaps, first rr5.
How was it like for you when you got your first rr5? Perhaps you didnt get a gratz thread but did you flame the others who did?

Jeez what high rr does to some ppl... :(

do we want grats threads for everyone who levels to 50 now too?
using that argument leveling to 50 now without pl or a bit is more worthy of a grats thread than rr5
or even better, how about ml10 grats? thats a lot of work, so lets have ding 50, ding ml10, ding rr5 all together

why shud they make a new forum for that??? why cant they make a new forum for rr10-11 gratz threads??? the only difference is in the eyes of who gets them...to some, rr5 or 6 for a casual player is a real achievement as they dont get to assist gank 1000's of chars a week like the "l33t" groups do...so just cos the rp's is different, it doesnt change the achievement because its the way in which those rp's gained which makes the rr5-6 an achievement. If someones proud of getting somewhere then let them have their moment of glory, its like denying one of you a grat\ rr10 thread cos people think u got in in a l33t gank group farming randoms , which some might view as less of an achievement than the casual soloer to rr6.

if thats in reference to me i was pleased with getting my rr5's after taking 6 months to lvl each to 50 ish and without bot, gank group etc...buit that was over a year ago now, as wenever i have played rvr since i have borrowed a m8s char.

just cos someone can get rr5 ina week cos of their gank group, how does that make it any less of an achievement to get it if you are solo unbuffed for example??? it doesnt, your circumstances are different to others so you cant just use 1 sweeping statement for everyone in this game.

I saw you where the thread started so I did not bother to read it. Just the same way that you can do for threads you do not like

I don't see the problem with grats threads as long as it has been a real achievement to the person in question, no matter which rank it is... the "grats <insert archer/caster name which none had heard of before NF> rr6" threads are just zzz tho

i guess that some people deserve rr5 is a valid point
the problem is that if these people get grats threads, then grats thread will start to be posted for all rr5, not just those for whom its a major achievement

thats not the case now and its never been the case. grats threads say what they are on the title, you dont need to read them.
theres like 700000 more posts on the same topic, and they all die.

In the end other than making yourself look like an elitist %^$@*? does it really matter whether a select few cry about having to read grats threads? It's a free world, and a public forum. People have the right to congratulate, people have the right to moan about other people's right to congratulate, and the first group of people have the right not to give a rat fart on what the 2nd group of people are moaning about :)
