Indeed, the worthy Lord Berkstead just defeated 2 fg hibs that had the nerve to knock down the beautiful doors of Caer Berkstead and run up and start hacking at our armored hero in the lord room. I guess it didn't help that the guild in question (Vengeance) seems to be 90% made up of casters and support chars, he certainly goes down slow when only a few are hitting on him. :D

Well done, Lord Berkstead! :clap:

(And as an aside, dang! it is difficult to take a keep these days!)

if there were 2 or 3fg albs there i might it seems mighty foolish to bang on the Lord and not the albs :). But hey maybe its a new tactic hehe

LOL, well let's see how albs do when there is 2-3 fg hibs inside a keep + a lord bashing at them, and keep guards are lvl 6+.

Remember when we used to hold renaris against 5-6 fg albs? and you still got your asses kicked at lord, yes we had a pbaoer, but so did you yesterday :)

didnt see a single yellow keep guard, loads of oranges/reds, ask the guild who had it claimed.

atleast albs attack defended keeps. some hibguilds just run away when they see there is ~1FG inside. :rolleyes:

Hehe, I mainly enjoyed the pitched battle in the lord room (seen from the vantage point of the hard cold stone floor). And yes, Tyka, I do remember Renaris, which is why I posted this. :)

Don't worry, btw, Apathy, I'll not make a new chronicle out of this for you to ignore. :p

That was actually my original point. All those elfs and lurikeens who usually make life difficult for their enemies on the open field looked a bit "useless" standing around doing nothing while a select few celts and firbies hacked on the lord. :)

Commas used as ad hoc parenthesis are ugly to view and irksome to maneuver through.

Exclamation marks suffer no such problems because they are used purely for one thing...exclaiming.

If anything, my ellipsis abuse is cause for concern.

both Renaris and Berkstad are upgraded after I talked to those GM to upgrade it or leave it to a guild who can afford the BP's/money.

"A pbaoer"?!? When's the last time I've seen a Vengeance group with just a single pbaoer? Hib is swarming with those things, dammit! :)

Apathy: Back off, boyo! I like my commas, and I personally think parentheses break up the flow of the text too much. :)

In regards to the level of the keep, there was much discussion in Berkstead after the hibs had been repelled about the level of the keep. Evidently, there had been a server reboot during the morning, reverting many of the keeps to level 1. I don't know if that was the case for Berkstead, however.

When we passed berkstead 10mins after the assault, keep level was at level 8.

Anyone remember how long the keeps take to upgrade from 1 - 8 these days? Something like 1 step per 5 mins??

Yeah so I got the name wrong, big deal. Was still a Spanish Guild :) and no I have nothing against the Spanish.

bah aussie guards were all orange/red con, say what u want. Without your zerg u can't do much anyways ;) Btw most of us are single target specced, not many pbaoers, only half specced in pbaoe wich is 179 base dmg.

pretty sure it takes 6 min per step so it is L10 1h after you do the /gc upgrade 10 command on a L1 keep

I thought it was 10mins per step to avoid server spamming?

No its 10 minutes per upgrade command, if you noticed in the old patch if you spammed /gc upgrade x alot of times it lagged the whole server out.
