Didn't really get time to Shroom up much. Aran lead the Zerg straight to the RK doors, Ram's went up in seconds and doors were down 30 - 60 seconds later.

With the turnout we had they just wasn't necessary.

Demonstrates again that Hibs can do Primetime raids, we have done before (a large percentage of our successful raids have been Primetime) - We've also done late / early raids as well (as I think every realm has).

aye, good show from everyone, was fast and furious - had to log straight after we got back to dagda to get back to work i had to do, but it was worth the effort
think albs and mids should scrap for str relics and just leave all of our power relics alone tbh....

have been wondering some time, after albs rr and our, and hibs, why oh why RR these day slast so short time, even mythic tryed longer raids whit 3 rams limit per door but still doors go down like old days whit 10 ram per door
i miss alott those old days raids what last sometimes 6+ hours if defenders was making job good, and attacker allso, these days raids is fast even defenders have allmost all keeps .

Because the uber guards where having a blast so to speak as they got gutted by mages and none FF people. The rest of us went to the front gate, insted of stopping at the foot hill like most people do All 3 gates where down in less then 2 mins ( I suggested that we'd knock down the 4th door also to keep the mids busy repairing them ... we dident <sniffs> someones got a heart ) I had an uber guard hitting me in the back while on the 3rd door, the door dropped faster then the uber guard dropped me belowe 900hits.

And if those guards makes mincemeat out of your clerics ... maybe you should put some tanks on the job of guarding them ... or dressing them up if some quality armour


BTW doing 600+ damage on the RK doors is silly a imo. Go LW FF Champs

You sound like a sore loser whining wanker tbh. There was 150 Hibs in the BG, I think of the 150 only 2 ish FG were in Odins putting 130+ at the RK. Given the amount of PBAoE mages and the fact we got to RK undetected it was a cake walk.

With Rams and FF Tanks the first two doors were down in 90 to 120 seconds I'd say. With the doors down a few people took care of the Runies and the inner tower door was pretty much down before they could repop.

I'd say any Realm force of that size that makes it to the RK undetected with some half decent ML abilitys (like fop) could pull it off without a hitch. But thats just me.

Yes there was Animists, yes they did Shroom, but this time round they played no major roll in the success of the raid.

When you play worse caster in daoc you got a right to be angry in the first place anyway.

Given the choice between standing on the ground at a milegate with 3fg mids and 2fg alb stealthers /assist killing me, or moving to a milegate room the very second I lose count of incoming enemies, I'll ALWAYS choose the room tbh.

How about you whine about alb scouts camping amgE instead and adding on anything that comes near, and using PS when something even looks at them?

Tactics change to suit the situation, if a fight calls for a milegate room defence, it's stupid to ignore it.

Now I could whine about the fact that ANY caster in the game except any of the 3 main Hib ones who use base DD can utilise trees to hide in while wiping out full groups, but I won't, cause I'm not like that.

Tbh only time majority of hibs go rooms is when having just fought AMG/MMG and can't escape to med quick enough because of incomings. Every single time at amg there's stealthers, and mainly scouts so generally always in combat so the room is used to fop/med. It's generally safer to med. Problems occur when incs arrive and people lom and then you get the stand-offs.

It ain't used to camp as in camp but it offers a tad more degree of safety because of range/los than to move away oop and get hit. Takes one scout to take group in combat and can't escape, casue confusion, someone loses /stick, whatever. Some of the ex excal players do like their rooms tho.

Don't like it any more than you do tbh, boring.

I know, that's why i didn't say all hibs tuorin because i know some do not do it i know everyone can play how they wish but just giving these hibs who do it a thought of how most albs feel about it(some do not have a chance already let alone vs them camping a milegate), i am guessing mids feel the same way, not sure if they have done it to them since i can't see from their point of view.

Oh well milegates gone in frontiers xD
