You are right, it's not about the time but.....
It's about the numbers and than time IS important. I am not blaiming albs for it though (Although some albs i laugh at cause they think they are smart). It's the choice Mythic made to not make balanced numbered servers.

Stop being so insanely biased and full of whines, you started this nights late ping-ponging. Our move was a direct response to a threatening server balance issue, it was planned same minute you captured both and was continually delayed by some stupid Hibs who never sleep who had to roam emain at 3.30am even with no opposition there.

I can't say I'm overly proud over succes here, just proud over the small but firm turnup rate. But as evident from alot of threads here you needed to be taken down a notch and server balance restored.

You tried playing the late night game and you got taken by suprise, stop whining, own up and bend over.

PS you obviously have no experience of playing extensively on American servers in mmorpg's, well I have, and your estimation of them couldn't be wider off the mark. They have more clue about how to play online games in their little finger, than the average European. Sad to say.

ppl it doesn't matter when each realm attacks another, the game is pretty even the way it goes, downtime enables things even out.

How boring would it be if Mid held all the relics? So Albion attacks at 04:00am, just gives to Mids/Hibs a challenge the next week.

Well ... You Raid at 3 am CET, we raid at 5 am Cet to show you we can handle your late night escapades. Every alb online was messaged for this raid and happy happy joy joy, part from a few exeptions they all came. And rams, well guess what Albion is a realm at war, its prepared to go out to take a rellic anytime of the day, or night, as proven yesterday. We only failed on the other 2 rellics cause what i think is a personal screw up of mine , missing a message from the guard puller that there was a big guard repop so you should be happy not all rellics are stored in Myrddin now.

Get real.

You know I fully expected to log on and find that one of the relics (if not all had been taken) but get real. You start a relic raid at 4am then you know that there is a VERY strong possibility that there will be no defense. I logged on before our raid at 11.50PM GMT and there were 1400+ players on Excalibur so therefore there was a VERY strong possibilty of Mid zerg defense when we hit the keep at approx 1.30. After all the night before there were enough mids in Emain at 2.00am taking forts in emain.

The fact that you had enough high levels to attack a relic fort at that time in the morning shows that there is a server imbalance.

PS Why am I not surprised that the raid was organised by the Uber L33T Paladin Arthwyr? Is it true that your lvl50 Epic Armour has a wide yellow streak up the spine?

Forgive me but isn't Excalibur an English server?

Therefore it runs on English timescale?

Whatever the right or wrongs taking undefended is a lot SMARTER than taking a defended one, BUT the sense of achievement is lessened.

As has been said many times the game is 24/7, and whoever started these early/late raids it doesn't matter any longer.

If you go for a relic/fort at a time when there are less than a few hundred players on the server then you are SMART, but it doesn't mean you aren't lame.

PS Arthwyr don't you repond to taunts?

When the Albs on Prydwen took 3relics at 8AM, there was not a single soul with a bad attitude. Heck, they even said grats and well done!

Sorry for not showing the same friendly attitude towards you albs that you showed towards us after our attack. I think Herbal was the first to congratulate us in the other thread and gave us a nice and friendly "Well done" if i remember it correctly.
So here we go: great achievement, you managed to take a relic when a whopping total of 30 hibs was online ( 8 of which where over lvl 25, woot) - well done there, though i always wonder why people want to have a PvP-server when they only attack when other players aren't around :q

Anyway, my only fear is that this whole game will turn into another PA, with people sleeping at daytime to take the night-watch, SMSs being sent at 4 am to awaken fellow guildmates etc pp - lets hope it doesn't...
