Also because Hib/Pryd is more unified as a realm than most other realm/servers. They work together well and get on with the job rather than whining on forums about this ability or that class.

And I say that as an Alb.

<shrug> Perhaps that conclusion is just as flawed as the previous one. But, the matter of fact remains: Albs have 45% of the last weeks total RP and unless Hibs and Mids starts working together this won't change.

Of course it will not if we only see 4 mids out constantly xD , hibs are doing damn good and always out fighting even if it's at early hours they are out giving good fights.Hibs prove that teamwork is better than anything in this game in it's current state.

Gratz on the RR and the stamina Albs.

Gotta admit it does seem that numbers win eventually, I quite enjoy the RvR but night after night of defense and masses of long hours grinds you down in the end. Unless every Hib comes out to defend we really do struggle and the under-population bonus has limited impact in this type of scenario.

What NF has done is ensured the Hibs work together as much as we can and those who said it proves that teamwork has an impact are right, sadly though it cannot stand against an 8 hr assault.

Are ani's over-powered, well yes even they agree in some situations they are. The game is meant to be balanced and ani's only work in defense, they are pretty poor elsewhere in RvR terms so there is no balance there for sure and most would prefer to see more of a balance.

Ani numbers are low, I think elsewhere someone said that only 17 got any rps last week and none got over 50k, fact is most are used for cash/item collection and we do not get to do that much with albs knocking on our doors every night.

Gratz to the albs though, every realm is going to use it's advantages to try to 'win' and it does not matter if it is shrooms, reaver bombs, numbers or range it is a foolish realm which does not make best use of it's abilities.

Another sensible post from Belisar. I think the main reason albs got any relics was grim determination. When we lost our str relic things looked really awful for us, but I actually think it gave us the kick up the back side we needed.

We actually started to work together for the first time.

After we got the mid power relic, (and my god was that a hard fought battle to get the keeps) we have been trying really hard to get the hib one. Full credit to you guys, you've shown up in numbers, night after night.

I really think a lot of credit needs to go to Hibernia for all the thinking and pre-planning they have obviously put in, much more so than I think Alb did.

Albion has many detractors - if we work together we "zerg", yadda yadda yadda... However, the days of 2fg claiming a relic like Roga's FL BG did this year (that was such a FUN RR) are pretty much gone.

I can also understand entirely people getting sick of the large scale fights. However, I can only say for me that it's brought a new tactical dimension to RvR, and introduced me to a lot of new friends on the Albion server who I might not have met if NF wasn't here. NF has many faults; what new system doesn't? I only hope people can persevere with it and have fun.

Although I was asleep at the time of the RR, big congrats also the Graendel, on what I hear was a very well done Relic Raid, given his efficient raid running I am not surprised.

A salute still due to the Hibbies tho, shrooms or no shrroms

Dont take up psychology in the near future, I know a number of mids enjoying the lack of relics and taking a break for xmas. Not all of them of course and the break wont last for long but at the moment I for one am enjoying wandering round Thid not constantly checking the RW map.

I am not slightest interested in relics and 90% of my alliance aint either so no it aint bollox.

Now alot more mids that don´t care about the relics either. Only that it is a releif not having them so you dont have to hear the spam about going to keep deffs all the time

Hmmm remember how the beginning of NF was? Mids defending keeps 24/7 and guess what!? They got bored with it and cba and what happened after that!? Yupp you probably guessed it our relics got lost.

And to do a RR from 18-19CET to 05-06CET aint nothing alot of ppl cba to do so they just dont go defend, let them take the relics and start doing what they think is fun instead.

Can´t compare OF keeps and RRs to NF ones. Then you are more stupid then you sound.

Relic Changes

Now that the dust has settled a bit on New Frontiers, it is apparent that it is too easy for a dominant Realm to take all Relics and hold on to them. Because of this, we are making changes to ensure that it remains relatively difficult to take enemy Relics, but is much easier to get yours back if they do get taken. Captured enemy relics now must be placed in a keep controlled by your realm in your realm's frontier. Your realm's relics are still placed in your realm's relic towers.

With our revised relic system (your own relics are behind the relic gate, but enemy relics reside in less protected keeps just outside the relic gate), we will be moving relics as part of this patch. Any of your own realm's relics that your homeland controls will still be in the relic temple. Any enemy relics that your realm controls will be moved to the keeps nearest the relic gate, with no more than one relic per keep.

Remember that after today, an enemy relic may be placed in ANY homeland keep that your realm controls.

To me that just says that enemy relics will be moved into normal keeps, but the ownership of the relic stays as is.

To be honest I am surprised Albs don't have all the relics yet. It is certainly not the same trend shown on other servers in patch 1.70. I think this is proof of how strongly the underdog realm Hibernia have worked to keep ther defense up. Congratulations for that Hibs!

I also think that just about everyone expect Albs to have all relics come 1.71. But then things will change - for the better hopefully. That patch is a good step in the right direction. Next step is getting Warlocks come Catacombs, so that Mids have a fighting chance in keep warfare. Next step again is some fat nerfs to certain Alb classes. Let us just hope 1.74 brings that.

You mean when Albs took the last power-relic at 5:30~ AM it was primetime ?

Anyhow primetime relicraids are very hard nowadays; since it takes 3 keeps etc etc etc etc to even get a chance to LOOK at the relic-shrink.

Besides Albs had in OF no problem taking keeps in the middle of the night; neither had Mids; and neither had Hibs. Complaining about thát now is rather silly when Hibs regularly woke up with less then 3 keeps in their possession in their frontiers.

I dont think the number of players on a class should be a reason to nerf or not. If its overpowered ---> it needs fixing.

There's not that many active animists in RvR; but they got nerfed quite abit with the NF-patch. Cannot cast FnF-shrooms on higher structures, cannot use bombers inside keeps going 'upwards'. Lost what, 60% hp on the shrooms etc etc.
